- Letter Hunt- Hide letter cards around the house and have your child find each letter and identify them.
- Make a "Silly Soup." Put items that all start with the same letter sound (sock, sponge, sun, snake, etc) in a bowl or pot and pretend to eat it.
- Draw letters with mud or paint using their fingers. Trace the letters, or look at the letter and copy it. Work on the letters of their name (uppercase for the first letter, then lowercase for the rest of the name).
-Listen to rhyming songs such as "Down By The Bay", "Willaby Wallaby Woo", "A Tisket A Tasket", any nursery rhymes.
-Place letter cards on the ground. Dance around to music. When the music stops run to a letter and stand on it. Identify that letter and then trace it with your finger.
